The aspect I like best about this photo is the fact that I shot it through the yellow flowers, but that meant I had to hand-hold the Hasselblad rather than using my tripod; I didn't dare squash or spear any of the beautiful flower bed with the tripod.

Skellig Birds

These kittiwakes are nesting on a wet sea cliff on Greater Skellig Island off the Irish Coast.  The feeling on this spot is one of nature's dominance - surrounded by the rough Atlantic Ocean, thousands of birds finding sanctuary, open horizons, and the only manmade habitation is a 6th century monastery.
