The bristlecones were photographed in the White Mountains near Bishop, California and are among the oldest living trees on earth, approximately 5000 years old. These were photographed at sunset, at an elevation of about 11,000 feet looking southeast, with Gundlach 4x5 field view camera and printed in my traditional wet darkroom.
