Handprinted silver gelatin photograph from 8x16” film camera negative directly onto the paper with no enlargement. This type of photograph is traditionally known as a ‘contact print,’ meaning the negative is printed onto the paper without being enlarged. This results in a unique gradation of tones in the image. Limited edition of 75. From my project called Home/Land, photographing the old Pennsylvania valley where my family comes from and where I now live.
