Alexander was one of three newborn calves found collapsed at a stockyard. Rescued by Farm Sanctuary director Susie Coston, the babies were rushed away for emergency treatment. Alexander had extensive problems and required a month at Cornell University Hospital for Animals to recover. He and the other two, Blitzen and Lawrence, now live happily at Farm Sanctuary.
